Pedantry in motion

This book is a collection of academic throat clearing, statements of obvious truths, qualifications, and dullness. The author takes what should be a fascinating subject and makes it immensely boring. This book is a tremendous testimony to the failures of our current higher educational system. One can only hope that the new technology hastens the day when writing like this is no longer put into books but is available only on some specialist website for pedants.
