I helped Prof. Logan with some research for this book. It is insightful, detail, and thorough exploration of the history, social factors, practical consequences, and legal importance of sex offender registration laws, particularly with respect to the balancing of individual rights versus the public's "right to know." The book will be especially helpful as a reference and source of citations and primary articles to scholars, students, and government personnel working in this area of the law. Well worth your time.
